The basis of an effective treatment is well-founded diagnostics. Especially in case of clinical patterns that are also strongly influenced by psychological factors it is essential to clear both aspects, the physical one as well as the psychological one.
Therefore we carry out a detailed examination consisting of ENT mirror examination, the entire audiometry with subjective and objective measurements and detailed tinnitus- and/or hyperacusis diagnostics. In case of vestibular disorders we can run very thorough and differentiated tests in order to find the reason for the vertigo symptoms.
In addition to an initial psychological consultation (biographic anamnesis) we also employ and evaluate questionnaires to find out about the basic emotional set-up, ascertaining the tinnitus strain and examining questions regarding depressivity and general emotional symptoms.
